Due to current restrictions, you can only eat out. We order via email via the website. An email came immediately with the pick-up time. The food was really really good. We are thrilled ... almost even better than we are used to at thassos. Keep it up ... And all the best for the difficult time.

That was our favorite Greek, even after the change of ownership, although the waitress was no longer extremely friendly. Now we are very dissatisfied, the food was unfortunately not as good as before and after clearing the dishes we were ignored for almost an hour, although the restaurant was not particularly well attended. We smoked in the next room (open), the "scent" disturbed us. There is a small dog in the dining room, who has meanwhile been petted by the lady at the counter. Then she continued to work without washing her hands ......

Great place very cost, staff where very friendly and even though they were fully booked they offered us a table, only had to wait 30...The menu choice was more than enough and the food was delicious.....only one negative the gyros in metaxa sauce potion was a little small...Overall I would definitely recommend this place ?

Insider tip in Barmstedt! Familiar, with fair prices, the friendliest service and the best Greek food outside of Hamburg. Today we went to Thassos for the second time, a family-run Greek with a wonderful ambience. The location is hidden in a side street in the center of Barmstedt, surrounded by old half-timbered houses and a small church. The friendly staff welcomes you right at the entrance and the first ouzo is on the table in under 20 seconds. On our first visit, we had the lamb souvlaki, tender as butter and in 15 minutes on the table. Probably the best fried hot peppers as starters, served with fresh garlic and good olive oil. But now to our last visit .. On request we ordered a mixed starter platter (first photo) because we didn't like fish, individually put together at a great price! The main course was the lamb fillet with fresh rosemary in red wine sauce and a gratinated gyro pan. The lamb convinces with its velvety own taste, rounded off by the mild acidity of the dry red wine, with a hint of thyme and garlic. The red wine from Greece (photo 4). The gyro pan, usually gratinated with Edam, this time with Gouda cheese and good heat if desired. The gyros is extremely tender and well seasoned, in a tasty cream sauce with mushrooms and onions. Accompanied by freshly tapped Veltins and generously served ouzo, which goes down like water without burning. Much to the annoyance of the driver. In this case, special mention must be given to the staff! Rarely, if not ever, have we received such a warm welcome on a second visit (!). The operation reads your every wish from your eyes and always remains unobtrusive and in the background. We would like to emphasize the Babis, the friendliest and most of all competent employees that we have ever found with a Greek. At 16 he decided to pursue a career in gastronomy and has been committed to Greek cuisine ever since. We loved it so much that it had to be mentioned here. All in all the best Greek within a radius of at least 50 km. Definitely try it out!
